About Taylor

Taylor Murray is a broadcast professional & seasoned journalist with a decade of experience in the television industry.

She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Junior League of Washington. She also volunteers with Meals on Wheels and the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

As a news anchor, reporter, and passionate storyteller, she feels called to deliver the truth with wisdom, grace, and space for every voice to be heard.

She graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2015 from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.

She has worked in various markets, holding numerous roles — including producer, video editor, production coordinator, and production manager in New York City; reporter and weekend evening anchor in Charleston, SC; and most recently, lead anchor for the evening news at 4, 5, 7, 10, and 11 p.m. weeknights in Greenville, SC.

Taylor believes that humans are made for connection. When you dig deep, you often find that there is more that connects us than divides us. Her ability to explore those deeper layers and tap into that connection — whether with familiar faces or perfect strangers — is the hallmark of her storytelling.

When Taylor isn’t reporting the news, you’ll find her spending time with her 137-pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Anchor — an AKC Champion and certified therapy dog — doing Pilates, and making memories with friends and family.
